• PLEASE NOTE – ALL Japanese vehicles i.e. Toyota, Honda, Isuzu, Suzuki, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Datsun/Nissan, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Kubota, etc. use Japanese Industry Standard (JIS) crosshead screws and screw-bolts. Also note – other Japanese products familiar to South Africans i.e. Makita an Ryobi also use crosshead JIS screws and bolts.

• Unbeknown to most mechanics, It is thus COMPULSORY to use JIS Screwdrivers on Japanese Vehicles & Products.

• IMPORTANT – using Phillips crosshead screwdrivers on the JIS screws and screw-bolts WILL cause the Phillips screwdriver to cam-out (climb out), resulting in damage to the crosshead screw/bolt head.

• WHAT TO USE – Using VESSEL Professional JIS screwdrivers will fit the JIS Crosshead Screws/Bolts perfectly and NOT cause damage or cam-out.

• ALSO VESSEL JIS screwdrivers work perfectly on normal Phillips crosshead screws/bolts. (NOT the other way around)
